Passport

For identification and biometric purpose, applicants are required to present during passport application submission.

• 1. Must book an appointment to visit the Passport Application Centre. You can visit either www.expatserviceskl.com or contact our help desk.
• 2. Kindly visit the application center on the scheduled day of your appointment and ensure that you have all the necessary documents with you.
• 3. The application form must be completed at the application center by a designated officer in the presence of the applicant.
• 4. Make the relevant payment exclusively at the application center (please make sure to obtain the receipt, as it is necessary for passport collection).
• 5. Proceed with the enrollment of your biometric data.
• 6. Retrieve your passport at the nearest post office once the process is complete.

All Bangladeshi nationals need a valid Machine-Readable Passport (MRP) to travel abroad. The Bangladesh High Commission, Kuala Lumpur issues and re-issues MRP to Bonafide Bangladeshi nationals following due procedure of the Government of Bangladesh.

New E-Passport:-

What is an e-passport?

An e-passport or electronic passport is a passport featuring an electronic microprocessor chip and antenna that integrates the person’s biometric identity, such as picture, fingerprint, and eye-Irish. E-passport holders do not have to stand in line for visa checking for immigration. Rather they can pass immigration very quickly using electronic gates. Now e-passport is available without any hassle by applying online from anywhere in the country.

Required Documents:

Passport Application For New Born Baby.

Applicants born outside of Bangladesh i.e., Newborn Baby, entitled to obtain a Bangladesh Passport by Descent.

Required Documents:

• 1. Photocopy and original copy (attested) of birth certificate issued by Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara (JPN) of Malaysia.
• 2. Photocopy of Bangladesh birth certificate and copy of online verification.
• 3. Place of birth must be Malaysia in Bangladesh birth registration.
• 4. Copy of parents’ passport and visa.
• 5. Attested copy of marriage certificate/marriage certificate of parents.
• 6. Passport size photograph of the child.
• 7. 3R/4R photograph if child is below 3 years of age.
• 8. Passport size photograph of parents.
• 9. Children must be accompanied by their parents during the application process.
